Micro Current Units

The Microcurrent TENS unit is a non-invasive means of pain relief with broad applications for acute and chronic pain.  It may be sufficient, in many cases as the only therapeutic method required.  Effective results have been seen during and/or consequent to stimulation over effected body parts, adjacent skin areas and/or areas removed from those in pain.  It is used for the relief and management of chronic pain, and post surgical and post traumatic acute pain problems. 

Sub-sensory stimulator that theoretically works on the same current level as the body's cells. It stimulates the mitochondria to increase ATP production thus increasing the body's healing time. It has been shown to be effective in healing fractures, muscle and ligament tears, heals wounds, relieve pain, and reduce edema, and has been effective in Macular Degeneration (see link)

NOTE that patients will NOT FEEL MICROCURRENT because the current is so small.
