THE ROLLER - #PPK106The Roller massager
A massage device for pain-free muscle relaxation and posture correction.

The Roller is made of solid, tree-farmed hardwood and will not become distorted or deteriorate over time.
It is lightweight and compact, measuring 5 1/2 inches in length and 2 1/2 inches in diameter. It comes packaged in an attractive full-color display box containing an illustrated pamphlet with clearly written step-by-step instructions.

The Roller is a highly effective device for treatment of soft tissue and muscular-skeletal problems -- trigger points, myofascial adhesions, forward head syndrome, excessive kyphosis, occipital/axis contractures.
It also provides lumbosacral and cervical traction.

By placing the roller on various spinal segments (see illustrations below), the patient creates a steady pressure upon back muscles and connective tissue. Muscles relax, connective tissue is gently stretched, and spinal realignment occurs. The entire spine can be treated in fifteen to thirty minutes, depending on the degree of tension and familiarity with the product.

Benefits of The Roller

  • Does not compress or deform as incremental pressure is applied, allowing for deeper and deeper work.
Feedback is constant and reproducible. Nothing changes but your body.

  • Unlike other deep pressure techniques, there is no pain or discomfort associated with The Roller, so patient compliance is high.
Pain, potential trauma, and inflammatory reactions are avoided.

  • Ease of use, portability, and low cost make it ideal for patient "homework," saving therapist treatment time and accelerating recovery.

  • Surface, medium, or deep work are easily achieved by simply adding or removing pillows.
Each increase in pressure that is comfortably accepted by the patient becomes a positive, healing force.
