How Do They Do That?

"Thermal Aid" processing starts when the corn is soaked in water and segmented.  Then the germ, or embryo is removed from the corn, with the remaining segments being sorted and kiln oven dried.  This process toughens the existing part of the corn, making it very dense and hard.  This results in an even and consistent temperature in each segment when heated or cooled, and provides extended temperature retainment (hot and cold).  This process also leaves the segmented corn product with very low moisture levels, eliminating problems with mold/fungi.  This new discovery regarding segmented and degermed grains will revolutionize the medical and veterinary world.
